Appointments

Patients are seen by appointment only. We work hard to see our appointments in a prompt and timely manner. Please check-in 10 minutes prior to your pet’s scheduled appointment to allow time to complete paperwork. If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please call us at 206.285.7387. We request the courtesy of ​24-48 hours notice for cancellations, which allows us the opportunity to dedicate the time and medical care to another patient or client in need. ​Failure to do so may result in a no-show/late cancellation fee.

If you have an emergency during regular business hours, please call the hospital at 206.285.7387. Our triage team can help you in making the best plan for your pet’s needs. If you have an emergency outside of hospital hours, please contact a 24 hour emergency hospital:

Payments

Payment in full is required at the time services are rendered, unless otherwise discussed and outlined by a written promissory note. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, cash, and personal checks. ​We do not accept Discover.

No personal payment information is stored for future use or shared with any outside source.

Return Policy

Medications that have left the hospital are not eligible for a refund or return.  

Services rendered are not eligible for a refund or return unless under special circumstances.

Over-the-counter items and food may be returned directly to Elliott Bay Animal Hospital for a full refund.

Patient Arrival
For you and your pets’ protection, and that of others, we must insist all dogs are controlled on a leash and all cats are inside a carrier while in our waiting area. As a Feline Friendly Practice, we have provided a designated cat-only waiting area located in the northwest corner of our lobby.
Cellphones
We ask that talking on your cellphone ​be limited while in our waiting area and exam rooms ​as a courtesy to other clients, patients, and staff. We provide free WiFi for your convenience​, see the front desk for access information.
Boarding Cancellations
​For any changes to boarding reservations, please allow a minimum 24-hour notice for all non-holiday boarding and a ​minimum 72-hour notice for ​all dates surrounding a holiday.
