Dr. Kari Moore grew up in Kansas City and has worked in the veterinary field since 2000. She received her B.A. in Human Services from Ottawa University in Kansas, moved to Denver to work as a certified veterinary technician, and graduated from veterinary school at Oregon State University in 2015. She has worked in the Seattle area since that time and has also been a volunteer at the Feral Cat Spay/Neuter project in Lynnwood. Her veterinary interests include senior and feline medicine, dentistry, anesthesia, and soft tissue surgery. She is also interested in pursuing leadership roles in organized veterinary medicine.
She lives in Queen Anne with her partner, Lucy, and their pets: dogs Ruth (Bader Ginsburg) and Raymond, and cats Finkle, Janet, and Tito. Outside of work she’s obsessed with music and can be found attending live shows or creating playlists while dreaming of a side career as a DJ. She also loves urban and outdoor adventures with Lucy and the dogs, cheering on the Seattle Storm, gardening, time with friends, yoga, and sometimes being a dedicated runner.
