Karon, Front Office Manager, started at EBAH after moving to Washington in August of 1998 from Anchorage, Alaska where she was born and raised. Karon has always enjoyed helping others and feels EBAH is the perfect place live her "second life." Her "first life" is spent with her family which consists of her husband, daughter and son........and 3 super cute cats, Baby, Dizzy and Diesel!
Deborah joined the team at Elliott Bay Animal Hospital in August 2001. After working in the Hotel Industry for several years, she decided to follow her heart and work with animals. Throughout her childhood, while growing up in the country, Deborah was blessed to have had many family pets. She currently has cats and dogs. Deborah foresees herself living back in the country someday with a barn full of horses, chickens, cats, dogs, ducks and a goat.
Chaya settled into the EBAH team in August 2004 after moving back home to Seattle. She has a runty kitty with a stubby tail named Nora, who has a fondness for catching moths. Chaya spends her time away from EBAH making things, often textile-related or big and sculptural, as she finishes her degree in Interdisciplinary Visual Arts at UW. Chaya also has a huge vegetable garden which feeds one of her other obsessions, cooking.
Jacob hails from the top of Queen Anne, where he resides with his wife Lesley and his leopard gecko Munchie. He has been with Elliott Bay Animal Hospital since February 2004, and is enjoying the experience immensely. He is living without cats and dogs at the moment (darn apartment lease!) and is very grateful for the opportunity to spend time with all the cuddly critters!
After a lifetime of moving around, Jennifer has finally found her home in Seattle, Washington. Likewise, after ten years of food service she has found a new home at EBAH where she can indulge her fondness for people of the furry persuasion. Jenny currently has one 20 pound Yorkie and hopes to eventually have a whole pack of giant Yorkshire terriers.
Marlo was so impressed with EBAH as a client, that Marlo decided to come work here! She thinks that the people here are GREAT and she is a big fan of all the pets but especially the giant breeds we see! When she is not at work, Marlo likes to spend her time playing drums, singing, and dancing with her human friends.
Nicole STILL loves dogs! And, cats are okay, too.
